Support payments for multiple childrenWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia I am recieving support payments for my child and the father has other children but I was the first one to put on him on child support. One of the other mother's has recently started a child support case against him and I wanted to know how will this affect my daughter's payments. Thank You! |

| Most states calculate the second orders by what's left over after the first CS order is deducted. Georgia Child Support Commission Home

| Although the new order will not effect your order at this time, please be aware that if your order is ever modified, the amount paid on the second order will be deducted from ex's income before determing your new amount. In other words, before the order is modified, make sure that you won't end up with a lower amount than before. |
