Is there a statue of limitations in California on child support? The court order is over 14 years old and the children are now 27 and 29 yrs old? Can the state collect if the father is on S.S.I. or if he ever owns property?

There isn't a SOL on the arrears.

However, SSI (not SSDI) cannot be garnished, so if the father is recieving only SSI and does not own any assets it's doubtful that any monies can be collected by the other parent.
