If a child completes 4 years of high school but does not receive a signed diploma and chooses not to continue at this time to attain one, does child support still continue until age 19. Also, if he or she attend a summmer school program during the summer after their Senior year to receive missing credits, does support cease after completion of this course or until age 19. If the kid is in school and pursuing his degree, support continues until he has a valid degree or turns 19. If he's not, then support stops at 18. But Dad should petition the court to end support and not just stop paying.
