What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
My attorney filed a petition for modification. The case was reopened and we received a notice of referral to a child support enforcement hearing officer. A notice of appearance posted and a few days later status updated to 'Answer'. Nothing has changed in over 2 months. Are we just stuck waiting on the courts to get to our case to review? Do we need to file a motion for hearing? What do the next steps look like after this point in a modification order? TIA.

What did your attorney say when you asked him/her your questions? Don't you think that your attorney would be more knowledgeable about a local timetable than a bunch of random strangers on the Interwebs?
