What is the name of your state? Kentucky. My husbands children live in New York with their mother. He pays child support for 3 children and pays all medical bills and clothing and school expenses, etc. The oldest is a senior in High School and will be 18 in May. He has no drivers license, no job and is not going to college. New York support laws say 21 or emancipated. Do we have to pay support for an 18 year old who has no desire to do anything to help himself to become emancipated? What is the name of your state?
