Who's responsibility is it to stop child support payments from garnished wages?

My son just turned 18 in March and graduated from highschool in May. I have shared custody with my ex-husband and he has paid me child support each month that has been garnished. Just wondering if it is my responsibility to get the payments stopped, or his. I just don't want to keep getting the payments, if down the road several months he realizes they should have stopped and goes after me for repayment.

Are you talking about when the child emancipates (turns 18 or 20 or graduates from high school)?

Do you have an open case with CSED? If so, have you called your caseworker and asked them?
