Today while I was at work, my girlfriend was delivered a summons for me, due to some unpaid credit card debt (Capital One). I am looking for some advice about what my options are. It states I need to file an "answer or other appropriate response" within 20 days (the summons is dated 11/21 and I got it today, 11/25) and would appreciate any information on how to do this and what legal options I would have if I represented myself pro se or help finding a lawyer referral service if this would be too difficult. Thanks in advance for the help.
