What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I am in Oregon. I bought a car from Texas. After inspection I found that someone has removed the catalytic converters and bypassed the smog pump. I have done some digging around, and I understand that the seller broke the law by selling the car. There are a number of other undisclosed issues with it so I want to return the car and get my money back. Do I have options other than to sue? Is there an agency that would help me get my money back for free due to the illegal nature of the sale? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
