What is the name of your state? Florida I had a marine repair shop work on my boat engine we agreed the total cost was 1300.00 which I paid. I have the boat now and the business is sueing me for 6000.00 more. Are there laws the marine repair shops are to give you a estimated cost sheet that I would have had to sign? For the work to be performed and if it was to exceed that cost I am to be notifed of that. I signed no such paper. I only paid 7000.00 for the boat 6 years ago the was no way I would put 7000.00 more in repairs please help if you can thanks dfisler
