Car vandalized at work,employer liability?

Hi from OH,

My wife works in upper WV and our car was vandalized by known offenders at the youth facility she works at.The youth were previously arrested prior to for escapeing the facility and damageing other vehicles.But because they were not caught in the act vandalizing our car $1500 worth her boss is dragging his feet remedying the situation claiming they have a park at your own risk policy(with no signs posted of course),but will look into it at their earliest conveniace.What rights do we all have here!

at best, this would be a gratuitous bailment where the bailee would not be liable for your damages unless they caused them.

They have no duty to guard your vehicle, and since you have no proof as to who even did this, what is your argument for them being liable?

Good grief! Why in the world do you think you are owed anything ... or why would you even ask such a stupid question.

You show up with a warm body and you think you are owed the world. What if it got hit on the Interstate .. then the government is responsible right?
