Civil Notice

I live in Texas. I received a civil notice from Indiana saying: Hearing Journal Entry (Plaintiff appears by counsel. Defendant fails to appear. Cause shown eleigible for issuance of body attachment with bond to be set at $5000 cash/surety.)... What does this mean? And can they do anything from Indiana? I just got a new job with the local school district and have to go do finger prints for paper work and I am concerned that this might have some affect on my new job.

This means that you can be locked up, at least in Indiana.

Legal issues are like leaky pipes. They don't go away when ignored and only get worse. You should address your legal issues in Indiana before they catch up to you in Texas.
