civil summons:right name wrong person

What is the name of your state? kentucky
I received a summons for a person who shares my name how do i go about clearing up this confusion? Thanks in advance for any help.

How do you know it's for a different person with the same name? Is it a son by chance? What did they say when you told them it wasn't you?

I have had the same thing happen to me. I had to go to court and present evidence that I was not the one the plantiff was looking for. The case was then dropped. For now all you can do is answer the complaint that you are not the person the plaintiff is looking for and provide as much proof as you can.
