When pleading for compensatory and punitive damage in a summary judgment in a conversion action over ownership of personal property the Courts gauge the damages by 1 or 2 methods, one method being the value of the property plus interest at the time of the conversion and the other being the rental value from the loss of its use. My question is how do I prove the damages and how do I get the Court to take notice of an exhibit in relation to the damages?
