What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Louisiana

Quick question - would a sealed court case (juvenile) that was heard in the judges chambers appear on court dockets or something called a "Name Index"?

Or would all records of the case ever happening be sealed?

I'm not trying to get specific details about a case, just trying to confirm if it exists. Also, are court dockets (or name index) required to be public record?

Hopefully that makes sense, thanks :)

Following is a link to a 2014 national review of state laws on the confidentiality, sealing and expungement of juvenile records, prepared by the Juvenile Law Center and Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.

This should have all of the information you are looking for.
