filed complaint against insurance co. who won't pay value for totaled auto. sent discovery requests and no answer. filed motion to compel discovery; was granted. def. won't comply with motion to compel discovery. what next? motion for default judgement? file a motion to strike their answer to your complaint for failure to comply with a court order (original order compelling the answers to discovery).

If granted, ask the court to enter default and then set a date to prove-up your damages.
