Defamation: Nude Pics

What is the name of your state? Florida

I got out of a relationship about a year ago. Before that year the ex girlfriend sent me nudes of her. Now that I'm with another person.. the ex tries telling my new girlfriend that i cheat on her. In order to get rid of the ex i tell her that i posted those nudes on the internet. Truth is .. i no longer have them and i never did it. She threatens to sue me. I have the conversations saved.

Question #1: Does she have a case?
Question #2: She has no proof since I never released her nudes to the public .. can she still sue for me having said I did?
Question #3: Should I be worried?
Question #4: Is there anything else I should be aware of?

you aren't guilty of anything, just because you said you did it. Unless of course, you caused some sort of a riot, where people were injured trying to get to the internet to see those pictures?
