What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I have a question about seeking out an estate litigation attorney.

One of my parents died and I may need to sue the surviving spouse, aka step-parent. Both parents lived two counties away. Is it recommended to seek out an attorney who is located in my county or my parents county? My parents county is also were my parent died.

Thanks you.

I admittedly don't know anything at all about probate court or estate litigation, but if there is a case already filed in probate court, and you want to contest something related to that case (say you want to contest the will), then you probably want to retain an attorney in the county where that case was filed. I think that's basically what OHRoadWarrier was saying.
