Over 5 years ago a I met a woman. Over the years she has continuallly been harrasing me continues to call, obtains unlisted phone numbers, etc. We lived in the same town, up until sometime last year. I have not seen her in 2 years, a few months ago to interfer with a vacation she filed for an emergency order of protection, with false police reports, and most likely tears. After reading it i couldn't belive a judge would grant it. I spent a considerable amount on attorney's fees. Of course she did not show in court and it was dismissed.

I have filed police reports and nothing gets done, she claimed she was harrased last year because i sent her an email not to call me, she called my house and cell phone a dozen times. Well lst week she started calling again. What can i do legally? Can i recoup my attroneys fees? Is there a civil suit i can file? Is her still contacting me and leaving messages a form of pergury related to the OP? I have ignored her for 2-3 years yet it has gotten me no where? I am afraid of her and she has threatened me and others.

You can file an abuse of process for the CPO. As for the rest of it, looks like you need a protection order yourself.

What is involved with the abuse of process and what is CPO? complaining protection order? What type of attroney would handle this and would it give her the opportunity or am i opening the door for her to come affter me again? My worst fear after 5 years of getting nowhere is this all turns bad for me what ever i do.
