I have a very good friend who received a motion to replevish property due to a debt going back to 1997. He has until 09/12/08 to respond to this motion but he would like to get an extension on this to allow him some time to get all the necessary information needed as he feels the amount in question is not correct. Can he possibly obtain an extension for something like this ? If so, what can he do ?
