I am facing a civil trial for a traffic accident. At pretrial, the judge said I would have to post a $1000 bond to seat a jury. I don't have it so I reluctantly agreed to let the judge hear the case.

Can I change that if I can come up with the $1000 before trial? Is there anyway to NOT post the bond and still seat a jury? Is there any chance of getting bond money back after the trial?
