I have a friend, whose girlfriend was put in jail about month ago. She was riding with a drunken driver who was pulled over, and then the officer gave her a Public Intoxication because she was "high on marijuana." Either way that goes, I drove my friend to the jail to bail his girlfriend out the next day. I hadn't intended to sign anything but the bondsman started asking my name, etc. For whatever reason I just signed it to get her out. Her court date was yesterday, to which she did go to, but she was given a 2 week extension. I am partly worried that she may skip out on her new court date, and my question is - will I be liable for anything if she does not go? She did go to her first court date. I don't have money to pay her bond. Thanks...
