What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania I have been served papers that I am being sued in civil court, a magistrate court. I filed bankrubtcy last year, can a judgement still be rendered against me. if so, what can i do to stop the judgement. Do I have to show up at the hearing?

Was this debt listed in your bankruptcy? If not, they may be able to sue you for it. I know that there are different regs for Ch 7, Ch 11, and Ch 13, so you need to look into it.
