Question

kids damaged house how much to pay?

What is the name of your state? MD
Some kids threw rocks at a house damaging 5 windows and 10 pieces of siding. The police were called and parties agreed to pay to repair the damages and no charges would be pressed.
The owner will only agree to having the whole house resided. It is possible to repair the siding. We even had a man come in who would take older pieces off the back of the house so the front siding would all match in the amount of fade. He stated that by having two long runs of siding being shinier than the others in the back of the house was not acceptable.
The exisiting siding has many flaws such as rust, discoloration, and dings. Along with the fact that he will only accept the whole house being resided....he wants us to agree to the contractors contract....which states when they pull alll the siding off if there is additional underlying damage we would have to pay for that too. Considering what the walls look like in one interior room I KNOW there is extensive repairs needed. Can the people who are responsible for the damage be charged like this....what are the laws if any? PLEASE HELP

if the damage caused by the kids result in him having to replace the siding and during that process reveals deterioration that must be corrected in order to replace the siding, you guys are on the hook for the entire amount.

how many families are involved in paying the costs? Just divide it up according to how many kids per family.

Be lucky you are just paying for repairs and not having your kids go through juvenile detention.

So you are saying that they are responsible for residing the whole house...and not just replacing the damage?

Of course you don't have to accept this condition. Your alternative is to have the owner go ahead and press the charges on these little idiot convicts-in-training.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) filed in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.7M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
