What is the name of your state? OH

A friend of mine won a very large monetary award in a lawsuit against a cult many years ago. The cult never paid a dime, and for various personal reasons my friend never pursued the matter.

Recent news stories have revealed that the cult operates a nonprofit charity as a front group, which allows the cult to keep its own finances secret. But it's quite clear that these people have a lot of money.

Does anyone know in general what the legal situation is for an organization that ignores court judgments against it for long periods of time? Is it protected by some sort of statute of limitations? Or can a winning plaintiff take them back to court to force them to pay?

Thanks a lot for any help you can give.

Judgments are good only for a certain period and then they die, unless they are revived.

Before you do anything, you need to find out if the judgment is still any good.

If it is not good, then you are out of luck.
