What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL

The Temporary Restraining Order remains in full force and effect until further order or 10 days, whichever is sooner. The hearing will on the preliminary injunction will be scheduled after proof of service is filed.

Can any one give me a laymen translation of this?

exParte temporary restraining orders are generally good for ten days until an evidentiary hearing can be held to determine whether an injunction should be granted. The hearing will not be scheduled until whoever served you provides proof that you were served, which may have already been done. In which case the party will most lilkely have the hearing scheduled before the expiration of the temporary order.
