| Motion to Bond Off a Lien and Atay Proceedings What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
We have a dispute with a roofing contractor who installed a severly oil-canned metal roof due to their metal forming equipment. They caused water damage to the home's ceiling and left a hole drilled in a ceiling. We wrote a demand letter for the contractor to return our deposit so we could get the roof redone by another roofing company and they have filed a lien for the balance of the contract price due.
Now, we want to bond off this lien and stay the proceedings (until we return to this second home next June) and have been told we need to file a motion with the county court to accomplish this. We have prepared a motion, but need advice to ensure it is properly prepared before filing it.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |
