motion hearing

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? maryland

i filed a motion in the district court concerning a garnishment. I did not realize that i would have to go to a hearing . what happens if i dont go to the hearing?

Then your motion will most likely be overruled or dismissed.

A no show on your part could be cause for the court to order you to pay the other sides attorney fees for responding to this motion.
