Neighbor from hell probably will kill me

California

Vexatious litigant no show in court out attorney fees.

Ok,

Her husband is out on 200000 bail for pointing a gun at 4 teenagers and stating “I have a bullet for each one of your heads.”

Since that time he has terrorized the neighborhood.

I caught him shooting my truck 39 times with a bb gun 4k in damages and shooting my dogs. He was arrested on a felony vandalism and immediately released.

His wife took us to restraining order court for slander for having him arrested. Loss of income for my wife and I.

After several thousand dollars more damages without witness this time and threats against our life and verbal harassment we got a 3 year restraining order in pro per.

Her husband continued to violate the order by blocking our driveway, approaching with a few feet of my wife and various harassment with witness statements and pictures. The Police would not arrest him because he is my neighbor and his “proximity exempts him from arrest.” He is on video tape running his truck within 6 inches of me. I had to make evasive move as I though he was going to run me over. But “he did not hit me so we will not charge him.”

3 days later the wife files a restraining order against me for “winking and blowing kisses” at her, legally parking my car in front of my house on the street, “talking to my neighbor at his house.” “every minute of the day harassing her.”

I actually only seen her maybe 3 times last month come or go.

I hired a lawyer for a grand. The judge refused her a temp order. I showed with my lawyer to the hearing. We were not on the docket. We found out she dropped the case 2 days earlier and did not inform us.

Besides the vexatious lit request and attorney fees request. What else should I do?

Thanks.

BTW
I have been writing every local and state/regional politician informing them that our lives our in danger as our perp was charged with stalking us also. The police act as if they want him to kill us. They have every right to arrest him. His psych report is “psychosis, personality disorder, manic depressive, depression, depressed.”

He has a course of conduct affecting at least 30 people with violence in the last two years. Sheriff and DA don’t seem to mind. Yesterday as I finished all the last emails to al the supervisors, ag’s, gov. sen legis etc. warned them that our county is in danger of murders from lunatics that have free reign and are protected by the law enforcement contrary to appellate decisions regarding stalkers. As I finished I turned on the tube and one of these “known” nuts shot his dad and three deputies and deputy dog and he was killed. My attacker is verifiably more qualified than this guy as far as references.
