My husand has a prescription for Oxycodone, a controlled substance. The dosage he is prescribed is 10/650, taken 3 times a day. This past month when he went in to pick up his other medications, the oxycodone was already filled (about a week too early) and the dosage was wrong. The pharmacist claimed she didn't have the 10/650 so she substituted it with 5 mg tablets, and told him to "double up". He checked with his doctor today, and the doctor told him that the pharmacist couldn't do that without talking to the doctor first and that they never called her to make sure that was OK. What should he do? This pharmacy has a long list of complaints lately, and 2 days ago there was a man infront of us in the line who was also given the wrong medication.

Thanks in advance,
Dani
