My almost 70 Year old mother signed for a certified letter addressed to my ex boyfriend from his ex wife's lawyer. He never lived at her address so we are not even sure why it was sent to her house. I'm not sure where he is so can not deliver it (shouldn't be our responsibility I believe). My question is, if he misses a court date or something because we couldn't give him the letter will my mother get into trouble because she signed for it?
