| still burned up My question concerns a confrontation occurring 1 1/2 years ago between a flight attendant and me while deplaning a late night flight into Colorado (I live, however, in North Carolina). This attendant, unprovoked, was verbally quite rude to me (a then 28 year old female traveling alone),as witnessed by other passengers. When deplaning, I asked her for an apology, and she began yelling curses at me and threatening violence. She then followed me off the then empty plane uttering very racist remarks (I'm white and she is african american)after me down the jetway and, ultimately, requiring a coworker of hers to finally physically restrain her (at my request!). I filed a report with the local police, notified the airline, and contacted the FAA, but I've never learned the outcome. The airline has since been bought out by another airline. A year and a half later, though I've tried to put it out of my mind, I'm still absolutely burned up mad over the ENTIRE affair and wonder if the airline, who took a VERY cavalier attitude, took any action against her at all. I sincerely promise I did NOTHING to provoke her, nor did I EVER return a racist comment, as witnesses can attest to. What is your advice? |
