What is the name of your state? Texas

I'm living in Texas and I'm being sued for structural damages after moving out of an apartment. It's been 2 years and 5 months since I last lived there. I was wondering if under tort law, if the time limitations have run out on my landlord's options to legally sue me in the state of Texas. Any answers are greatly appreciated.
