What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Ohio
Im not sure if this is the right board or not, if not please forgive me.

Due to a commercial lease litigation in progress a bank in 1st lien position is trying to call in a loan. The phone calls are bordering on threatening. Is it legal to tape record phone conversations in ohio.If it is, Id like to install a system for further conversations to be recorded!...thank you

OHIO is a one-party state so as long as you are a party to the phone call you can record the conversation without notice to the other party. This doesn't mean the recordings will be admitted into evidence though.

Although they would be admissible under the Ohio rules of evidence as party admissions.
