i live in tyler tx i recently put a lien on a house . the lien was for breach of contract not paying me money. the builder i did the work for her husband is an attorney and is sueing me under texas deceptive trade .act am i wrong but is this law for consumers or does it apply to building contracters . are there any laws stating that a builder cannot sue under the deceptive trade act. thanks for any help
