Thinking ahead ... if a district court dismisses e.g. one or more causes of action but allows others to continue, is the allowable time frame for appeal of the dismissed cause(s) the same as for appealing a whole suit? Or can one wait until final adjudication of the entire, original suit before appealing some or all of the causes if the causes' dismissal does not occur all at once, but sequentially over an extended time period?
