What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? washington

if i was assaulted in jail due to officer negligence is the jail responsible for the doctor bill ?? i can prove it due to kites , and a 25 page log of what happened, other paperwork and witnesses.. i have been told i need to talk to a lawyer about my situation.. i ended up with 2 broken bones in my back.. also is if possible that i have a case

i also feel the way they conducted themselves after the situation was wrong

i live in washington state

i guess this isnt the forum im looking for.. i guess you lack the ability to ask questions pertaining to my situation... i will take my questions elsewhere...

It is most likely that the only people liable for your injuries are the ones who beat you up - who probably don't have much in the way of assets. But consult a lawyer in your area. Never know.
