workplace privacy

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia
My former employer released my DOT drug and alcohol testing results to a for profit data collection agency without my written consent. Is this a violation of my right to privacy as well as a violation of DOT(Dept. of Transportation) rules. Is this a case for possible litigation?

What makes you think you have an expectation of privacy with regards to these records?
