On July 18th 2006 my car was parked in a parking lot in a strip center. An afternoon storm came up and blew a dead tree on my car causing $2635.00 worth of damage. No one was injured. I went to the property owners insurance company with pictures I had taken. They later informed me they were not liable as it was an act of nature. I countered that the tree was dead and should have been removed by the property owners. Again the claim was denied. I have full coverage through my own insurance company, but do not have the $500 deductible. Do I have a case? Had the tree fallen the other way it would have fallen into traffic possibly causing injury. I only want my car fixed. No more than that. Where do I go from here, or should I let it go.
