Professional Liability Insurance

What is the name of your state? Colorado

Do I need errors and omissions insurance?

I am working as a consultant for a CPA, doing bookkeeping. I am NOT on her payroll. She has her own professional indemnity insurance and she seems to think that could cover me. However, I am not convinced. At this point, I am not doing any consulting work for anyone else but this one CPA.

Hope you can help. Do you need to know more to answer the question?
