Hi all,

In most cases it seems that when purchasing Public liabiltiy and professional indemnity insurance online you need to specify the category the business fits in and then a further subcategory needs to be specified.

So in my case, the primary category would be 'IT' and the subcategory would be 'software development'. Although development would take up most of the time, there are instances where I may visit a client or fix a computer or anything IT related. By choosing 'software development' does it mean I am not insured if I do anything else IT related?

Thanks,
John
