Accused of "hacking"

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Missouri

Pretty much i was in a relationship with someone who wasn't "in her right mind". After a long relationship i moved out and after getting my computer set back up in my new house the very first time i got onto my web browser it opened directly to her email, signed in and everything. Well the first thing i noticed was she had sent nude photos of herself to other men while we were suppose to still be together. I got mad and called her out on it, i deleted her from any way of contacting me that i could and i thought that was it. I didnt save the photos, emails, i didnt snoop, i didnt post them anywhere, the web browser opened her email by itself from her using my computer last before i left.

Well after going to her house to return her stuff and get my stuff back as i was about to leave she said she called the cops because i "hacked her computer". She said that there was a case number and everything against me but i can't find that information anywhere. I honestly have no idea how to even begin going about hacking someones computer and it was her own ignorance that left her email open on my computer but im seriously worried that something bad might come of this. All i did was break up with her!

Whoever deals with people accused of "hacking" do they have a thorough way of checking to see if i did it or not or are they going to harrass me and charge me with it without any proof. I didn't do it and everyone says i have nothing to worry about. But hacking is a serious thing and im worried she may get away with falsly accusing me of doing such a crazy thing. Is there anything i can do to prove me innocence? What should i do? Is there anything i can do?

When ever this happens where I work the first thing they tell the person to change there email, facebook, etc account password. As long as you caused her no harm or took money from paypal account nothing should happen.

Just tell police (she's probably B.S ing anyway) that you got your pc back and info was there and been deleted. Then dont contact her any more.
