How do I report software piracy?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington.

So, if I have a friend who is downloading a torrent of Adobe Photoshop, who do I report them to to get them busted? Could they get hit with a fine? Or just severely warned to not do it again and to delete the illegal copy? Is there anyone I can report it to who will actually do something?

Try reporting.bsa.org or see if Adobe has a piracy reporting email.

Fine? Busted? No, criminal complaints are unlikely.

What will most likely happen is the publisher will demand a stiff payment and follow it up with a civil lawsuit if they are ignored.
