Images of copyrighted material

I am a c# developer, and I am looking to write a piece of software to allow users to share their own images of items with selected other users. Each user of the software would be required to provide his/her own images, and viewing users would not be provided the capability of capturing those images in any way. The problem is that the software is useless if users aren't legally able to display images of copyrighted material (mostly printed materials). There would be no centralized hosting, and therefore I would think that there would be no issue with my "hosting" copyrighted material. I appreciate any advice...

Thanks,
Nathan.

You remember what happened to Napster, right? Same thing.
