Legal OpinionsWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA My workplace has been using an outside Computer Admin for the last few years.. With the recent economic downturn money has been tighter and we ran behind on payments for this Computer Admin. Well the guy is pissed and wants all his money i would assume, so he locked our whole company out of the network and quickbooks. Does this guy have the legal right to do this? 1.) We own all of the computers, servers, software, etc. He just installed it and set it up. 2.) He logged on without permission. 3.) Our company cannot operate without our network and QB.. Hell today is payday and now were all f'ed because we need QB for our manager to print checks. Any opinions ? |
