What is the name of your state? CA

Hi, if a guy on his website tells me he knows how to take advantage of an error in online casino software to win, and I follow his exact instructions, yet it turns out that the error does not exist, so I lose my money, is there anything I can do?

i feel like others are falling prey to this scam, is there anything that can be done about it? or is his behind covered because he "cheated the cheater" so to speak? i would like to know what my options are.

i do appreciate it, thanks.

Scott.

I'm sorry, I thought this forum was serious, I didn't realize it was a parody.

Jokes on me.

Its not a parody, well not usually. The whole "Kelly crap" is.( You don't want to know) :(

The thing is Scotty, you don't really have a case unless you signed a contract with Mr. Cheater, and this site does not like to help people who are knowingly trying to get around the "right"way of doing things.

Also there is something against On-line casinos too.

So Parody on.

Ohreallynow, I think you misunderstood. I'm the victim of this scam, not the perpetrator, and I want to know if there is anything I can do to sue this individual or at least get him to stop scamming others.

I'm sure a lot of people in desperate need of money would fall for this and lose their money while he profits from the scam. This surely cannot be legal, there must be a way to stop it.

Please advise.

What he did is illegal. But you can't sue him in civil court since you should have known that it was illegal to scam an online casino. You could report the incident to the police but since this is some guy on the internet who knows where he really is or if he is even in the U.S.? You would also have to admit that you were trying to do something illegal.

Hi mb94, thanks for a straight answer.

I know for a fact that he's not in the US because the ip address of the e-mails he sent me are from overseas. Does that mean there is nothing I can do to stop him? Maybe I can report him to the FTC? Anything to get him to stop. I just feel so powerless.

How is what he did more illegal than what you wanted to do??...And what Law Enforcement Agancy do you think would actually take this on??

IF you can do in anonymously try it.

But do not let yourself feel powerless any longer. That is up to you to stop, and that gives you POWER.

Cheer up Scotty.

If what he's doing is illegal, like mb94 said, then of course the FTC would want to pursue this.

Otherwise, he is running a PERFECT scam, is that what you're saying baystategirl?
