Personal Text Messages Published Online

Uk
My daughter accidentally left her phone at a friend's house overnight. Her friend must have read her text messages before returning the phone because since then my daughter and her friend have fallen out and her friend has posted all of these text messages on an internet website forum to spite her. She is now threatening to repeat it on another website forum. Is there anything we can do to stop this? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
