What is the name of your state? Texas
I am thinking about opening an online casino palor and was wondering if anyone can tell me if it would be legal in the state of Texas.
I know casinos are not legal here but my wife and I play the online casinos all the time.
What i am wanting to do is expand that so other people can play also but play on my account and i pay them when they cash out.
Is this legal?
Please respond ASAP
Thanks Jrjorin

well actually, playing online casinos is actually illegal in texas and in every state in the US. The only cases I know of it being legal are for state run off-track betting sites where registered in-state users can place bets.

Setting up an online casino is a multi-million dollar endeavor and can only be done offshore (unless you like prison).

i dont want to setup one i just want to allow others to play at the online casinos but provide a place and a portal from them to do it at.
does that help with my question a little bit?

Have you noticed that all of the online poker places advertise their www.____poker.NET addresses? These are the sites that let you play for free with no cash payouts. That's because its illegal (or at least the govt is claiming so) to advertize the online gambling sites directly. Something about inducement and promotion of gambling.

So once you get to these sites, located offshore, they can then advertise their pay sites. and try to get people to gamble.
