civil rights abuse

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania My wife and I are in a battle with our condo association and management firm with what our attorney tells us is a completely bogus fine for an alleged "violation" of a bylaw.

Now I've discovered that the mangement firm President AND his representative on the condo board absolutely do NOT have the PCAM which they have, nevertheless claimed, repeatedly putting the designation after their names in numerous correspondences to us and others.

Is this something that could help our cause, or is it just a trivial technicality? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

**A: ok,

**A: A misrepresented designation from an association in this case CAI has nothing to do with the bogus fine. And those indivduals cannot be on the condo Board unless they are condo owners themselves and would have a conflict of interest serving on the Board and as the managing agent.

**A: trivia unless the PCAM was a factor on your HOA hiring the firm to manage your HOA.

By the way, your post title states civil rights abuse but I do not see anything remotely near that in your post.

a trivia??

"Officer I realize I was driving without a licence, but that's a trivia"

"Judge I know I was practicing medicine without a licence, but that's a trivia"

The PCAM is THE credential for managers of condos; having it affirms that the manager has pursued continuing education in the field and is thus up-to-date on all the latest intricacies of condo management. By lying about having that credential they lie and mislead the condo board, the unit owers, the public etc. about their qualifications and their readiness to handle the job. Ask any attorney specializing in condos, co-ops, etc.

However you are right that the post did not make clear the civil rights violations. I'd described that in more detail in another forum It was based on the fact that a speeding charge was appended to our condo bill without the presumption of innocence, a chance to face our accusers, etc. My posts have been shifted from another forum by the adminstrator of this forum (for perfectly valid reasons) so this would probably account for the lack of clarity which you correctly noticed.
