| Condo member installed Fiberglass Insulation I am in Massachusetts. I live in condo that is part of a three story house. It is three units, each floor its own unit, thus all three owners make up the condo association. Our washer and dryer are located in the basement. When I did my laundry yesterday I noticed that the first floor unit owners are installing fiberglass insulation in the ceiling of our basement so that it will insulate their floors. They did not ask or consult any sort of permission from myself or the other owner in the building which is the first major problem. Secondly, it is exposed and will be right over our heads if doing laundry or anything or accessing our storage. Fiberglass poses health problem and it is bound to release particulates from their footsteps and such. Also, to do anything with our wiring or pipes now we have to sort through the insulation to get at them which poses completely other problems. I would like to know other peoples opinions on this matter before approching them. Thank you. |
