What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts
Our condo master deed excludes trucks from parking in the common (parking) area. One owner feels that his pickup truck is exempt from such restrictions because it is registered as a "passenger vehicle," although when he purchased his condo here the deed stated "only automobiles, non-commercial vans, etc" may park in the common parking areas...and "no trucks, boats, trailers, etc, may be parked in the common areas..." He vows to go to court to uphold his truck parking privileges, while another owner vows to go to court to uphold the documents. Who will prevail in court??

While it's a probably a crap shoot, a pickup used for non-commercial uses would probably prevail as fitting in the automobile category. My 1/2 ton pickup isn't registered as a truck either.
